Why choose Accounting?
Whatever your chosen career, you will come across accounting, whether you decide to run your own business or work as part of a large organisation. Accounting forms the backbone of any business and you may wish to combine your study of Accounting with a business course, although this is not a requirement. You do not need to be an expert mathematician, but you do need to feel confident with figures and enjoy working with numbers to find solutions to problems.

I am currently studying the BTEC National Diploma in Health and Social Care and I am now in my final year. The course is very beneficial for my career aspirations of becoming a primary school teacher. The work experience can be hard work but it is worth it and the trips are helpful and interesting! All the units I am studying are really interesting. I am glad I chose this course because I'm not a huge fan of exams but I do enjoy doing coursework. The course includes additional qualifications such as First Aid and Food Hygiene. I would definitely recommend this course to others! |
