Why choose BTEC National in Business?
This is a vocational course that provides an alternative method of study to the traditional AS/A level Business course, but is a qualification of equal status. The course focuses on a range of skills relevant to the needs of modern businesses and a variety of topics such as Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and Management. There is an emphasis on building up a portfolio of work, whilst also providing students with an element of choice often absent from AS/A level studies. It is useful both in terms of moving on to Higher Education or employment.

Oliver Lee
Nunnery Wood High School
Whilst attending WSFC I studied Business First diploma, English GCSE and Maths GCSE. Before I came to the sixth form college I had not studied business before but thought it would be an interesting subject to learn about. I have learnt a lot from this course and will hopefully be able to use it in anything I do in the future. It will definitely help me if I want to set up my own business. In the future I plan to find a job that is well paid so that I can progress with my hobby of restoring a Mini.|
