Silver medal win for the West Midlands hockey team in the AoC National Championships

From Friday, 26th April to Sunday, 28th April, Worcester Sixth Form College took nine students to Nottingham University to represent the West Midlands hockey team in the AoC National Championships.

Over the 3 days the Men’s played 4 games winning 3 and losing just 1 to the eventual winners. The boys did themselves, the region and the College proud finishing in 2nd place winning the Silver medal. The players were Tom Scotson, Daniel Rickman, Ethan McDonald-Smith, Fraser McDougall, Rory Simons and Elliot Morris.

The girls who represented the West Midlands side from college were Alice Oliver, Maisie Hucker and Ffion Llewellyn and gave a fantastic account of themselves although did not finish in medal positions.
