Why Study Marketing?

T Levels are new courses aimed at students aged 16-19, which follow
GCSEs and are the equivalent to 3 A Levels. Just like other applied
courses, T Levels can lead straight into employment or on to university
to study further.

The T Level in Business and Marketing combines classroom learning and
‘on-the-job’ experience, during an industry placement with a minimum
of 315 hours. This will give students the opportunity to experience a real
career in business while continuing with their studies.

In the classroom you will study topics such as:

  • How do businesses balance the needs of different stakeholders?
  • How can businesses maximise the potential of digital
    technologies?
  • What factors influence the behaviour of consumers?
  • What marketing strategy can maximise profits in different types
    of organisations?
  • How do businesses assess the performance of a project?

You will be assessed via written exams and externally set projects.

This course is ideal for any student who knows that their future career
will involve working in an office environment or the business sector

placement experiences and show the skills you have learnt.
