Work Experience
Our dedicated Work Experience Team supports students in securing placements that match their interests and future career goals. Work experience is highly valued by universities, employers and apprenticeship providers, helping students develop skills, confidence and career insight.
Work experience can help students:
- Develop employability skills such as communication, teamwork and problem-solving
- Gain first hand insight into a career or industry
- Build confidence and professional networks
- Strengthen university, apprenticeship and job applications
During Impact Week in June, all Year 1 students are expected to complete a minimum of two days of work experience.
