Chemistry Challenge Success

chemistry challenge

Congratulations to our Chemistry A Level students who achieved record results in the Chemistry Challenge, a competition run by Cambridge University. Rowan Hill, Alfie Senior, Nathan Adey and Emma Kippax were awarded Gold with thirteen students achieving Silver and seven Copper certificates.
In addition, the same group of students took part in the School’s Analyst competition organised by Northumbria University. Working in groups, the students completed a series of practical activities to analyse the ingredients used to make fish and chips and answered questions related to the activities. The winners were Alfie Senior and Aaron James.
