Exam Results Celebration 2025

Outstanding A Level Success

Congratulations to all our students on their results today! It was fantastic to welcome so many to College for the Celebration Event, joined by proud parents and family members.

This year, our students achieved 100 A grades* and 738 A, A and B grades* in total. That represents 48.5% of all results, with 76.6% of grades at A–C*. Our A Level pass rate of 98.5% (A–E)* is once again above the national average, marking the twenty-first consecutive year of success.

Applied and T Level Achievements

Students also excelled in Applied courses. 43.3% achieved Distinction/Distinction* and the overall pass rate reached 99.7%.

We are especially proud of our first cohort of T Level students. Every student who completed the Education and Early Years qualification achieved a 100% pass rate – an outstanding result compared to the national picture.

Beyond the Classroom

For more than 40 years, Worcester Sixth Form College has supported students to achieve excellence in their studies. We also focus on building their confidence and skills for the future.

Alongside their main subjects this year:

  • 77 students completed an Extended Project Qualification, with 17 awarded A grades*.

  • 295 students achieved a Core Maths qualification.

  • Over 700 students took part in work placements.

These additional opportunities help students gain competitive advantage when applying to top universities or stepping into employment.

A Message from the Principal

Principal Ed Senior said:

“I am incredibly proud of all our students and hope they enjoy celebrating with family and friends. Their academic results are impressive, but I am equally proud of their personal development and the way they embraced opportunities.

I would like to thank my colleagues for the care and support they continue to give. Finally, I wish this year’s leavers every success. With their results, work ethic and experiences, I know they are well prepared for the next stage – whether that is university, an apprenticeship or employment.”
