Languages and Careers Day
On Tuesday 11th July, the Modern Foreign Languages department hosted a Languages and Careers day. Our students had the opportunity to talk to former students to find out about various Language courses available at university . They also sampled a tailored-made lecture in either French, Spanish or German.
A big thank you to College alumni Josh, Eva and Emily who respectively represented the universities of Oxford, Leeds and Nottingham. We then welcomed professionals from various local firms such as Southco in Worcester and RS Hydro in Stoke Prior, as well as Debbie Milner who is a professional Translator. Our guests talked about their Career path involving Languages. We are very grateful for their invaluable input. Our students thoroughly enjoyed the experience and have a much clearer idea of the Languages courses on offer as well as job opportunities involving the use of Languages.
