German A Level students have returned from a successful exchange trip to Munich. The group visited the Albert Einstein Gymnasium School (Einstein himself was a former pupil!) and stayed with German families.
During the week they visited a number of different sites in Munich, such as the Film Studios, Olympic Park and Schloss Nymphenburg.
The highlight of the trip for the students was the city tour, which was led by the pupils from the German school.
It was an invaluable experience which really helped to boost the students’ confidence in the language, they have developed new friendships and gained a greater understanding of German culture. One student commented “I had a really enjoyable time on the exchange, I learnt so much about Germany, its culture and language. I’ve made some great memories and friends for life. I’m really grateful for the experience.”
We look forward to welcoming the German students to College in April.
