Health T Level Students Air Ambulance Experience

On a visit to Midlands Air Ambulance Cosford last week, Health T Level students benefitted from learning how air ambulance teams assess, stabilise and treat patients in critical situations outside of hospital settings and how patients are then transported onto other healthcare services.

They were able to explore the various team roles within the air ambulance service, including paramedics, critical care doctors, pilots and support staff, and understand how they work together to deliver urgent care.
