Visit to Munich

German and Music A level students recently returned from an exchange to Munich.

The students spent a week staying with their exchange partner from the Albert Einstein Grammar School to get an understanding of German customs and traditions. During the week they visited sites such as the Olympic Park and the BMW exhibition, they also went to Salzburg in Austria, the birthplace of Mozart. Students also had the opportunity to see a performance of Puccini’s La Boheme at the Opera House in Munich.

Feedback was really positive with one saying “It was a really great opportunity to get to know the German language and culture better and build lasting friendships” and another commented that “It was my first time going on an exchange and it was a wonderful experience”.
