Welfare for Healthcare Campaign

Worcester Sixth Form College is pleased to support the Welfare for Healthcare campaign which has been set up by a parent of one of our students to raise funds for the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity. Welfare for Healthcare aims to fundraise to enable care packages of food, drink and toiletries to be available for all NHS staff working on extended shifts in these challenging times.

Other local businesses have offered support to the campaign with local radio stations helping to raise awareness and to encourage donations to reach the initial target of £10,000. To find out how to make a donation or show support, please visit https://welfareforhealthcare.com or follow them on Twitter (@W_For_H).

The College was contacted about the campaign following a request to staff, students and parents for other ways that we could support the community after our recent donation of supplies to the Trussel Trust food bank and goggles, aprons and gloves to the Worcestershire Hospitals Acute Trust.
