Geography Field Trip to Lake District

First year Geography students went to the Lake District between 11th and 14th June to complete their Non Examined Assessment fieldwork part of the course. They stayed at the FSC Blencathra Centre near to Keswick. There were several days field work where they looked at a range of physical and human aspects of geography with a focus on data collection techniques. They visited Keswick, Bowscale Tarn near Blencathra, and Easedale Tarn near Grasmere. Our students did really well and were a pleasure to take into the field; very polite and hard working. Despite bad forecasts, the weather was reasonably kind to us too!
