Modern Languages Event at Blessed Edward

On Tuesday, the College’s Head of Modern Foreign Languages, Anne-Marie Mead, and some students visited Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College to speak to Year 9 students about the importance of studying a language both in terms of employment and the skills developed.
The morning involved local employers and schools speaking about the importance of languages in the modern world and was an opportunity for Anne-Marie to talk about the French, German and Spanish A Levels available at the College in addition to the opportunities for work experience and exchange visits.
Thank you to Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College for inviting us to the event and we hope that it encouraged future budding linguists!
