james vaughan

Congratulations to second year student, James Vaughan, who will represent Great Britain at the World Duathlon Championships in Spain this weekend.
The World championship will showcase some of the stronger duathletes from around the world across numerous age groups. James will be competing in the Under 20 Sprint Distance Duathlon, which requires him to complete a 5km run, followed by a 20km bike and finishing with a 2.5km run.
James said that his recent training has been tailored specifically for this event and involves training 6 times a week. This requires James to be fully dedicated and committed to ensure he does everything he can to be in contention for a good finishing position.
James got involved with duathlon from a young age following in his parents’ footsteps and after completing many park-runs as a hobby, he quickly found a passion for the sport. James wishes to pursue his running and duathlon career at elite level alongside completing his A Level studies.
We wish James the best of luck and look forward to celebrating his future success!
