Support for Careers and Progression

All our students are registered to Unifrog which is a platform providing access to a range of careers and progression information in addition to the information and support provided by our Student Services team.

Students are encouraged to make full use of their online accounts to develop their own employer skills. It is possible to shortlist research and intended destinations on the platform which enables our students to develop their ideas and plan their next steps.

Unifrog University Research

The UK Universities search tool allows students to search, compare, rank and short list universities and courses they are considering. Find out how to use this by watching the video or looking through the slides by clicking on the button below.

It is also possible for students to search for the courses offered at Oxford and Cambridge, European, US and Canadian universities. Find out more by watching the video or looking through the slides below.

Unifrog Apprenticeship Research

The Apprenticeship search tool allows our students to search for current apprenticeship vacancies and to compare apprenticeship standards/framework, levels and locations. It also provides guidance on how to apply. Find out more by watching the video or looking through the slides below.

Unifrog Careers Research

Unifrog offers three libraries of information on careers, academic subjects and information on career paths:

Careers Library

The Careers Library includes over 800 job profiles and students can search using themes, careers areas, or subjects. Each guide contains a summary and information on earning potential, future prospects, what different careers involve by way of responsibilities and routes into that career.

Know-How Library

The Know-How Library offers hundreds of guides and videos relating to different pathways including higher education, apprenticeships and careers.

Subjects Library

The Subjects Library allows students to use search options using their favourite subjects and this then provides access to hundreds of profiles to explore.

As well as Unifrog our students can access to the National Careers Service website which offers information on a wide range of careers and job profiles.
